The must attend event of the summer will attract 380 teams across the two sports and over 20,000 supporters that will descend on Bournemouth over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend; from 1^st - 3^rd June. Now Wooden Spoon will be joining the party and adding to the festival atmosphere that will see an action packed weekend full of sport, music and entertainment.



The Bournemouth 7s may only be in its 5^th year, but it is already impacting on the world rugby scene overtaking the Dubai and Hong Kong 7s for team entries and has firmly cemented its place on both sporting and music calendars.

The Bournemouth 7s festival has 6 arenas with a massive array of entertainment, live music and spectacular shows with bands performing in both the beer tent and the Nintendo festival stage whilst the Animal Bike Tour, Black Knights Parachute Display Team and Kids Zone will keep all the family entertained.

The partnership between Wooden Spoon and Bournemouth 7s represents a significant forward step for both Bournemouth and Spoon Rugby and it will be interesting to see if Spoon can improve on their magnificent winning record in 2011 to bring home the trophy at one of the biggest 7s tournaments in the world in 2012.
