Join us for the Annual Northumberland Summer Luncheon at Catraw Farm.

A total of 90 guests enjoyed the latest Northumberland event at the MacDonald Linden Hall Hotel, Longhorsley. A welcome drink of 'Backworth Shandy' started the evening with Craster Smoked Salmon and Northumberland Roast beef to follow. The meal was rounded off with an Eton mess and coffee.

Join us for our annual Sportsman's Dinner on Wednesday 24th October 2012 and enjoy the company of our guest speaker Dean Richards, former Leicester, England, and British & Irish Lions player, and new Director of Rugby at Newcastle Falcons.

Held on Sunday 1st July 2012 at Town Foot Farm, Shilbottl, with over 120 members and friends attending the 3rd annual Summer Lunch which this time was held in the splendid grounds of Northumberland Spoon Chairman Anthony Stoker's farm.

Over 150 members and friends supported a highly successful Roast Dinner & Ceilidh at the Riverside, Wooler on Friday 11th November.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that one can have a great deal of fun with a ball!

Congratulations to Wooden Spoon's four London-based challengers, from the Bank of America, who completed a very demanding circumnavigation of Northumberland on foot, cycle and Kayak.

On a fine November morning Northumberland Wooden Spoon were honoured to have Her Grace The Duchess of Northumberland open the new Eco Garden at Barndale House School, Alnwick.

Ollie Phillips and Joe Shaw danced the day away with pupils from West Jesmond Primary School, during the first session of the Falcons Dance project.

In September, the Northumberland region of Wooden Spoon donated a trampoline in a new therapy room at Beacon Hill School.

The Princess Royal HRH opens a Playing for Success project at Newcastle Falcons on 12 February.
