Once again it is a pleasure to invite you to enter a team in this year's annual golf day.
We are continuing with the traditional format, an 18 hole stableford competition with prizes for the first three teams, plus nearest the pin and longest drive for individuals. As usual the winning team of four plays in the National Golf Final. This year's venue is The Oxfordshire Golf Club, Friday, 04 October.
(Individuals and part teams are most welcome to participate. We will help to make up a team where possible).

Many grateful thanks to those who took part in the Wooden Spoon Annual Lottery during 2011.On Monday 12th December, fourteen tickets were drawn by Wooden Spoon's Trustees from over 16,000 returned, and the lucky winners have now been notified.

Bill Hill, CEO of Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of rugby, aims to raise as much money as possible by cycling over 1,200 miles across the length and breadth of the UK this summer to kick start Game On! a new project to help young unemployed teenagers in Northampton, Bath, Bristol and Warrington get a job.

Milton Keynes Sailing Club was the venue for the official hand-over of an Access 303 sailing dinghy to Sailability.

Rugby is not noted as a sport for setting world records, although a number of players have notably set records for the number of appearances, points scored etc, but Wooden Spoon is now part of a new Guinness World Record®.
