On 7th and 8th September 2012 the Isle of Man rugby community welcomed the Wasps Legends Rugby Teams of men and women.

Wooden Spoon Isle of Man are delighted to announce that from Friday 7th September until Sunday 9th September the Wasps Legends Rugby team and Wasps Ladies will be coming to the Island to play a match against an Isle of Man Select XV and a Ladies XV.
Among the Wasps Legends are many British Lions and International players including such household names as Andy Gomarsall, Josh Lewsey and Serge Betsen.

The annual front row challenge raised £500 for the Isle of Man Branch of children's rugby charity Wooden Spoon on New Years Eve.

Many grateful thanks to those who took part in the Wooden Spoon Annual Lottery during 2011.On Monday 12th December, fourteen tickets were drawn by Wooden Spoon's Trustees from over 16,000 returned, and the lucky winners have now been notified.

The Wooden Spoon Wheelchair Sports Club was officially launched at the National Sports Centre on 26 October.

A great day was had by all at the Celton Manx Sir Norman Wisdom Wooden Spoon Golf Day last month. A host a famous faces from the worlds of sport and show business gathered at Castletown Golf Links to join local teams.
