Expanding Spoon in Essex

It is the Committee's intention to have a "Champion for The Spoon" in every Essex Club - please put your names forward to Nick Eva, our Chairman, who will let you know all that is happening in the County for distribution amongst your Members. Please e-mail Nick Eva at nickeva7@googlemail.com or telephone 01245 362358. Your Essex Committee has been significantly strengthened since we last reported. Details of the newly expanded Committee will be given soon.

Our Project update

We are committed to contribute £50k towards the £320k project cost of the Play and Resource Centre (PARC) in Braintree. Planning permission has now been granted and the total sum raised to date is £263k. This has been achieved solely by the efforts of the parents with disadvantaged children at PARC - a magnificent effort by Georgina Rhymes and her team.
