The significance of the boys being coached for Tag rugby is the fact that Spoon has funded Shropshire Rebels, a tag rugby team for special needs pupils. The funding is over a period of the next three years and the aim is for the boys to assist not only with the coaching for the Rebels but also to take part in officiating at tag tournaments.

Judith Phelps, chair of Telford Hornets and a Spoon member, complemented the boys and said she was pleased that a link had been formed between Wrekin and Spoon and that they had shown such commitment and looks forward to seeing them in the future carrying out coaching lessons for tag rugby.
