Autism Sussex is a charity offering out of hours support for Children and Young People with learning difficulties. They have recently opened a new centre at Felpham near Bognor and Wooden Spoon Sussex region donated £10,000 to equip a new Sensory Room. Bill was accompanied by Brian Hodges, Capital Projects Director, Bob Rogers, Chairman of Wooden Spoon Susex, and members of the Sussex Committee.Colin Morley, Autism Sussex Youth Services Manager and his staff were also in attendance.
Jackie Lee, Fundraiser for Autism Sussex said "I would like to the Chairman and Committee of Sussex Wooden Spoon for all your commitment to Autism Sussex and for your attendance at the opening of the Sensory room at Summerley Corner. Your grant of £10,500 has already had an amazing positive impact on the lives and activities of the children and young people using the centre. Everybody loves it and it is used to maximum capacity already".
