On Monday 16th January at Twickenham Stadium, Wooden Spoon and Rugby Football Union (RFU) launched the FairPlay project evaluation report. Supported by Barclays Spaces for Sports, this innovative two- year programme has been working with hard to reach children through rugby, helping them address a number of key issues around behaviour and social skills.

Children's charity Wooden Spoon is both privileged and proud to announce that Gabriella Roseje, a graduate of the pioneering Hitz project has been nominated as a bearer of the Olympic Torch. Gabriella was put forward by one of Britain's most decorated footballers of all time and Samsung's Global Olympic Games Ambassador, David Beckham, as part of Samsungs "Everyone's Olympic Games".
