Over the course of the June Bank Holiday weekend Wooden Spoon RFC will be making the trip down to the Dorset seaside to take part in the biggest rugby, netball and music festival in the world - The Bournemouth 7s. More than 20,000 rugby revelers will be joining us on the coast for what promises to be an action packed weekend.
The Bournemouth 7s has become THE must attend event on sporting calendars across Europe since it's inception 5 years ago, and Wooden Spoon are proud to announce that our inagural appearance at the festival also coincides with our first year of being the benefitting charity of the event in a move to ensure that Wooden Spoon remains as succesful off the pitch as it is on it.
With the 7s season now in full swing Wooden Spoon will be hoping to build on their impressive campaign so far so if you're in Bournemouth over the 1st-3rd June make sure you come down and support Wooden Spoon!
One of the UK's leading corporate hospitality providers, Eventmasters, staged a series of Silent Auctions at Twickenham during the 2013 RBS 6 Nations Championship, raising funds on behalf of Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of rugby.
