Our Chairman was asked to speak a few words and being the only male in the room with 60 ladies, it was one of his most daunting tasks since joining Spoon. Interestingly, when the ladies were asked who had heard of Spoon, at least a third put their hands up, possibly because Spoon has two projects in the Church Stretton area. The evening was a tremendou success and £1200 was split equally between the two charities. Spoon's thanks as always go to all those at Housman's for their continuing support.
