Wooden Spoon Vet recovering after neck injury

Spoon veteran Alex 'Bosh' Bennett is currently in the Southport & Formby Hospital Spinal Unit following an unfortunate accident where he fractured his 'C3' vertebrae in the upper spine.
Alex is receiving great treatment and is doing up to 4 sessions a day including a hand clinic (opening and closing the hand, squeezing a ball etc), leg bike attached to his wheel chair, hand to mouth function and tilt board. He has demonstrated an almost indefatigable spirit and his positive attitude is an inspiration to all and a great testimony to his personal qualities. He has also made it clear that he intends to walk out of hospital as soon as possible.
Our thoughts are with 'Bosh', Antonia, the children and family.
