On Thursday 5th April James Sinclair, Headmaster of Finborough School will embark on the most challenging experience in aid of Wooden Spoon by competing in the world's coolest marathon, the North Pole Marathon, where he will have to overcome the extreme sub-zero temperatures in order to finish 26.2 miles in one of the remotest parts of the planet.
'I have been involved with the Wooden Spoon charity for some time and have seen firsthand the great work they do for local projects that benefit disadvantaged children and young people. So please give generously and I'll do my best to run 26.2 mile marathon in what could be -30c temperatures!'
