Headteacher Mrs Katrina Winston, showed Clive Norling from Wooden Spoon - Wales, and Craig Williams and Michelle Edmunds from TNT, the current state of the outdoor adventure play area. Despite all the trials and tribulations of the area, located high up on a Welsh mountain, having to endure snow, rain and wind (and that's only in the summertime!!), and with children climbing all over it every school day, the equipment was surprisingly in very good condition.
Mrs Winston said, "The school cannot thank Wooden Spoon and TNT enough, for their generosity in funding the adventure play area equipment. It is used everyday by all our 106 children, including the 16 special needs children. What was a plain, bare outdoor area of the school has been transformed by the Wooden Spoon funding into a purpose built play area for every one of our young pupils".
Mrs Winston said that she looked forward to Spoon visiting the school again in the future.
Clive Norling commented, "From my part, it was a pleasure to represent Spoon on such a visit to see for myself, the contribution, and difference, both WS & TNT have made to this primary school."
