WOODEN SPOON MENS AND LADIES TAKE ON AMSTERDAM
19TH and 20TH MAY 2012
Wooden Spoon is proud to announce it's partnership with the Amsterdam 7s - the most International Sevens tournament on the European circuit.
Now in it's 41st year, the legendary competition attracts almost 110 teams from over 30 different nations. More than 7,000 fans will party in Amsterdam while watching elite men, women and veteran players from around the world. Live music, the infamous final night, table sliding competition and much more ensures that both on and off the pitch, the Amsterdam 7s is a weekend to remember.

With almost 350 matches, not only is Amsterdam one of the largest and most entertaining rugby festivals on the circuit, but it also provides players and fans alike with the chance to see the rugby starts of the future. Jeremy Guscott, Lawrence Dallaglio, Didier Camberabero, David Strettle, Neil Jenkins, and the legend himself, Waisale Serevi have all graced the Amsterdam pitches.
As one of the few Sevens competitions still run by volunteers, the Amsterdam Sevens is also proud of its charitable work with a large part of the ticket sales donated to charity every year and many of the teams, alongside Wooden Spoon raise money for good causes.
As a result Wooden Spoon is delighted to be partnering with the Amsterdam 7s for 2012 and we're confident that this relationship will ensure that Wooden Spoon RFC continues to be a success both on and OFF the field this year.
All Wooden Spoon supporters are warmly invited to join the party for what promises to be a top weekend of action!
