In glorious Sussex sunshine, HRH The Princess Royal, Royal Patron of Wooden Spoon, visited Ferring Country Centre, near Worthing, on 25th April to officially open the Wooden Spoon Pavilion.

Earlier this month, the Wooden Spoon Women's 7s team reclaimed the Kinsale 7s title they previously won in 2011.

This September join former British & Irish Lion and England Captain Phil Vickery on the Great British Bike Ride and cycle from Lands End to Twickenham Stadium in time for the London Double Header.

The sun is shining, the bank holiday is upon us and here at Wooden Spoon we're gearing up for the official start of our Spoon Rugby 7s season at the Kinsale 7s.

Last week Wooden Spoon RFC competed in the 56th East Grinstead Sunshine 7s in Sussex.
