Training has been intense, having decided to take part in the event on the "spur of the moment", consisting of a mixture of short and long distance to provide a good balance plus three training walks in the Yorkshire Dales including Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent, three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire.
Spokesman Chris Hartnell said "The Four Peaks Challenge represents something quite unique in terms of providing a very daunting physical and mental challenge whilst enabling funds to be raised for a very worthy cause. We have been working hard to prepare for the climbs and we hope we can represent the northern offices of Carter Jonas well. Our colleagues have been really supportive of us and our efforts to raise £4,400 for the charity."
The teams will finally arrive at the Hotel Dunloe Castle in Killarney on Saturday 3rd July for the legendary post challenge awards dinner including prizes for the fastest climbing times both on the individual and over all four mountains as well as the most funds raised, plus special awards for the fastest veteran team, the fastest mixed team and the fastest ladies team and a much-needed overnight stay!
