What a way to kick off our 30th anniversary celebrations other than in the Algarve led by our new Golf Ambassador Lee Mears. Wooden Spoon voyaged to Portugal on the 25th April for our first 2 day golf tournament at the Le Meridien Penina Hotel Golf & Resort. The event successfully raised funds for Spoon and we hope to host another alike in the near future. A huge thank you is in order to Arthur J Gallagher International, without their generosity this event would not have been as successful as it was. Further special thanks are owed to our rugby players Lee Mears, Harry Ellis, Shaun Perry, David Trick, Paul Burke and Jeremy Pugh who made this an event to remember. Here are a few words from David Trick about the weekend.
Join us for a fantastic day of Clay Pigeon Shooting at the award winning E.J Churchill Shooting Ground 'The only Shooting Ground to be voted best in the country 4 times by the IPC shooting industry awards' on Wednesday 19th June 2013.
We are proud to invite you to our charity golf day with Village Developments plc to help raise funds for Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of rugby that is dedicated to helping underprivileged children and young people across the British Isles to live happier, richer lives.
It is Spoon's 30th anniversary and the team have been working harder then ever to create sensational golfing events for this year. 2013 is set to be an exciting year for Wooden Spoon golf, hosting our flagship 30th Anniversary Golf tournament in Portugal and our Founders Golf Day.
