A dinner staged at Birmingham's Botanical Gardens - and hosted by the former England flying winger David Duckham - raised almost £7,000 for Wooden Spoon, rugby's children's charity supporting disabled and disadvantaged children and young people.

On the 26th April, the Ulster Region will be hosting 'Lunch at Number 10' at the Stuart Suite, Culloden Hotel.

The Lunch will include as guests of honour some of the great Fly-Halves of British Rugby.

Under the excellent leadership of Bill Reichwald the 5th Six Nations' Dinner was held at Baldwin's Omega Dining Rooms in Sheffield. Once again we were treated to a culinary delight featuring a dish from each of the 6 Nations and including the wonderfully flowery "Parisienne Bretagne Homard en Cocotte." All beautifully served without a Gallic shrug of indifference in sight!

This year's 6 Nations Ball in aid of Wooden Spoon is to be held at The Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden on Friday 16th March 2012, 6.30pm - 1am.
