"The Spoon Ambassador Programme has been set up to engage high profile individuals from the world of industry, sport and celebrity with the work of Wooden Spoon. The programme is designed to help Ambassadors to meet their personal and corporate social responsibility goals, to expand Spoon's reach over the next few years, and, to boost its funds.
There are many ways that an Ambassador can help and this is entirely open to his or her discretion. It can be anything from a financial donation either personally or corporately, expert commercial advice, donation of auction lots, personal appearances to introductions. Every year we deliver four of five non-paying and exclusive events to our Ambassadors when we can update them on our charitable activities and where they can meet and mingle with Rugby Greats and fellow Ambassadors.
Wooden Spoon produce 'Front Row News' three times a year for the Ambassadors Programme.
It's aim is to keep you informed of what all the Industry and Sporting Ambassadors are doing to support the Charity. It will also talk about the events past and present, the monies raised and what they have helped towards. There will also be information about upcoming events and how you can get involved.

Spoon Ambassadors come from the worlds of rugby, industry and philanthropy. They help to improve the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and disenfranchised young people across the four rugby home nations. They give financially and through media work, policy work, advice and introductions. Spoon, and the children it serves, remains indebted to them for their invaluable support. This link to the Justgiving page allows Ambassadors to make personal donations, openly or privately, in a simple, safe and tax-efficient way.
