SHIRTS4SPOON
5th OCTOBER 2007

No ALT tag specifiedWooden Spoon Shirts4Spoon day is the day when employees and school pupils can work together to raise funds for disadvantaged children. On October 5th 2007 we are asking schools and businesses to help support Spoon by having a day when everyone comes to work or school dressed in their favourite shirt – football, rugby, outrageous, bad taste or just casual! Wear your favourite shirt and donate £1 to Wooden Spoon.

Shirts4Spoon day is the Friday before the quarter final matches in the Rugby World Cup and there will be many famous past and present players lending their support to Spoon and helping to make it a great fundraising day. Shirts4Spoon is being supported by both businesses and schools across the UK, many of whom besides wearing their favourite shirt will also run additional activities such as raffles and cake stalls in order to generate donations to help stir smiles on the faces of children less fortunate than ourselves.
We want this day to be fun as well as a successful fundraising day and therefore we will be doing everything possible to make it a success. We can provide you with many support tools such as posters, flyers, DVD’s collection pots, wristbands and lots of advice so please get in touch.

If you need to know more about the charity please watch and show your colleagues and friends our short DVD, and if you would like to organise a Shirts4Spoon Day, please click on the appropriate links and register your business or school.
