Paul was a stalwart of the University College School Old Boys RFC, http://www.ucsob.co.uk and following his untimely death four years ago a fund was set up in his memory. Now, the fund has made its first presentation to a charity, and chose Wooden Spoon to benefit.

Linda Boxer, one of the founders and trustees said "Paul was a totally involved amateur rugby player and supporter, and in his work life with the Metropolitan Police met many disadvantaged children and young people. When we became fully aware  of Wooden Spoon through Gordon Brown's presentations to the Middlesex RFU we decided to make our first charitable donation to Spoon. The fact that our donation will be used locally to help complete projects with disadvantaged children and young people convinced us, and we are pleased to be associated with the aims of Wooden Spoon".
