A record number of guests heard “SQ” reminisce about his rugby career and entertain us with behind the scenes stories. He then signed numerous rugby balls kindly provided for the evening by Ram Rugby. Andy Gomersall (as seen at left), England and Harlequins scrumhalf, who was also in attendance at this great event also added his signature in good natured fashion for rugby fans. 

A very successful raffle was conducted thanks to the hard work of our glamorous sellers from Stradbrooke Marketing. The auction of a Parliamentarian’s Shirt which had been donated to us some time ago raised further funds. Such specialist items in the auction ensured that the evening was not only one of the most enjoyable we have held, but also a financial success in raising funds for our projects currently being considered to assist disadvantaged kids in Surrey. We persuaded quite a few people to become members too!
