.jpg) Mere statistics will convey the full impact of this event, 505 guests, 24 tables over-subscribed, full house notice put up on August 3rd and last but best of all over £30,000 raised for disadvantaged children in our region!! Helping the event swing along was our new MC, David Kendall, a former York bank manager turned comedian who made a great impression on his first appearance. Our main speakers were Doddie Weir, former Scotland and Lions lock forward (seen at left) and the irrepressible Max Boyce (as seen above) who got to his feet at 16.45 to entertain us in his most flamboyant and unique style!

Main sponsors PRODUCT BROKERS, the Oughtred & Harrison Group and PWLC were all delighted to be able to entertain their friends and guests at such a prestigious event. They’re all coming back next year so that is testimony to the value for money they get from this great occasion! The Christmas luncheon has now become the ‘must go to’ Christmas party in Leeds! After all, 505 people can’t be wrong can they???
