The World Golf Trick Shot Championship was held at Hanbury Manor on 18th August and Wooden Spoon was delighted to be nominated as the benefiting charity for the event. The competition brought together eleven of the world's trick shot professionals performing some amazing shots including hitting balls off bricks, playing from a toilet seat and driving outrageous distances standing on a pilates ball. Each competitor had 15 minutes to perform and Geoff Swain cruised to victory with a faultless display of skillful tricks and witty banter.
Spoon had a marquee in a prominent position for those attending in which they held a raffle and the longest putt competition was hosted. Spoon banners covered the area and supporters had a great day. It was a fabulous day to help raise the profile of the charity. Sky Sport filmed the event and Capital Gold Radio conducted live interviews.
