Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, kindly sponsored by Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, followed by a superb dinner cooked by Gordon Ramsey trained chef, Griselda Holmes. The evening continued with a conducted tour of the Production Centre with guests posing for pictures on the various sets. The tour was followed by a pub quiz in the studio of the Woolpack Inn where draught Black Sheep ale was enthusiastically consumed. During the course of the pub quiz the guests were surprised and delighted when Bob Hope, the regular barman in the Woolpack (played by Tony Audenshaw) suddenly turned up to 'reclaim' control of the pub!
The Yorkshire region of Spoon’s First XV of supporters were given first chance of a “money can’t buy” evening to remember and the hugely enjoyable event raised £865 for the charity. Thanks go to Tim Fee for not only giving us the opportunity 'for a night out in Emmerdale' but also for providing the raffle prizes.
