The local region of Spoon held events around the year to raise money for the new state of the art school in Forest. The region donated £41,000 for the playground equipment for an infant and juniors play area, as seen being enjoyed by some of the school's students here.
Le Rondin is both a special needs primary school and home to the Special Education Support Servies (Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Social Language and Communication and Learning Support Services). It also houses the island's Child Development Centre operated by the Health and Social Services Department Services for Children and Young People.
