| We were fortunate to have reasonable weather, although it was far from being the hottest day of the year! 27 teams took part in a hard fought competition, with the winning team being Sheldon Construction, led by Stacey Sheldon (far left in the picture.) We wish them every success in the National Competition finals and, indeed, in the International Pairs Competition if they can succeed in getting through to that event.
A splendid day was rounded off with an excellent dinner in the Cedar Room at the RAC, Woodcote Park, and we were entertained by Rob Nothman who gave an interesting insight into various well known sporting personalities. Financially, we raised over £3,250 on the day and welcomed a number of new members to Wooden Spoon.
