A superb total of some £3,000 was raised on the day, and this has been added to other sums raised by the Club since April so that Wooden Spoon has benefited by a total of over £5,200 so far.

Wimbledon Park Golf Club is in a delightful setting near to the famous tennis club. Richard Kennett and Ron Young (past chairman of Surrey Region) enjoyed the day in the company of two Stradbrooke marketing ladies who helped raise the profile of Spoon at the Club and assisted with the raffle.
