| During the last RBS Six nations games the lunch time events kicked off with a lunch at Watsonian’s RFC’s Myreside Pavilion on the eve of the French Match. The FUNction was part sponsored by Brodies LLP and an interesting insight to Scottish and Lions rugby was given by Jim Telfer.
A similar event on the eve of the English fixture was equally successful with speeches given by Peter Wheeler and Andy Nicol. Next year’s lunches will be held before the Welsh and Irish matches.
Both events this year were by far and away the most successful yet, raising over £23,000 between them.
