| 18 teams battled for supremacy in warm conditions that called for plenty of liquid refreshment and which may explain a tailing off of scores on the back nine! Victory went to Wadebridge Camels RFC whose team of Mark Richards,Jon Hughes and David and Kevin Derry posted an impressive score of 87.
After an excellent dinner and further liquid refreshment the teams were entertained by Ronnie Stewart who had travelled from the Midlands for the day. Thanks to all those who took part and, in particular, to Armada for sponsoring the event. See you all next year.
Wooden Spoon would also like to thank John Sumnall for all his hard work as Chairman of the Cornish region of the charity. John is retiring on a part time basis to sunny France. While we wish him a Bon Voyage, we look forward to seeing him at Spoon events in the future. Andrew Cox is taking over as Chairman and we look forward to working with him in future years.
