| The successful event was attended by local business people and Wooden Spoon supporters. Mick Skinner very kindly came and acted as auctioneer, a highly entertaining part of the evening which helped everyone’s generosity.
The dinner was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all, raising £6986 which will attract a further 50p for each pound by national Spoon. The Spoon Council have just approved our first projects for the region – the Castle School in Cambridge and the Granta School in Linton.
The next event Cambridgeshire and Suffolk region's event will be a 60's and 70's themed dinner at disco on Friday 15th of September 2006 at Sywnford Paddocks. The dress code will be black tie.
