|
| As part of first birthday celebrations for the Exeter based FoodeaZe Food Hall and Restaurant, a Wine Tasting evening was held on Friday, 24 October in aid of Wooden Spoon. |

| FoodeaZe’s passion for good food led to the idea of holding a wine tasting which would not only show case FoodeaZe’s produce range, but would also raise funds for the Wooden Spoon of which they are a corporate ‘Silver Spoon’ member. During the tasting guests were given an extraordinary insight into the wines when Alastair Peebles, one of only 260 Masters of Wine in the world, shared his knowledge of, and explored the qualities of, each wine with the guests. Guests also enjoyed a selection of Tapas from FoodeaZe’s range of locally sourced foods together with delicacies which are rarely available outside the Mediterranean. The evening proved to be a great success with guests applauding the food and their new found knowledge of the wines they had enjoyed.
