| Devon Opens Bridge in Memory of Spoon Secretary |

| Bridge dedicated to the memory of Team Devon Secretary, Malcolm Baker (1946-2007) |

 The Baker Bridge that links Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, home of Exeter Chiefs, to Public Transport links to Exeter and beyond was opened officially on Saturday, 16 August by Mrs Nicky Baker, widow of Malcolm Baker. Nicky unveiled a plaque dedicated to Malcolm and was joined by Tony Rowe, Chief Executive of Exeter Chiefs, family, friends, Spooners, and colleagues to celebrate this momentous occasion. Malcolm was the Assistant Director in the Environment, Economy and Culture Directorate at Devon County Council who was involved in the negotiations for the redevelopment of Sandy Park. He was also a stalwart supporter of Wooden Spoon and was Team Devon’s Secretary for many years.
