Leicestershire Spoon celebrated St. George's Day the traditional way. First it was led by a welcome by Chairman, Malcolm Foulkes-Arnold, and followed by a rousing rendition of Jerusalem before the meal (seen above).
The event also featured a traditional English lunch, a patriotic sing-a-long and both a raffle and round of bingo (seen at left).
The lunch was an unqualified success with 65 guests who thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations and raised a grand total of £2925 for Leicestershire Wooden Spoon.
