Leicestershire celebrates St. George's Day
St. George's Day was celebrated on April 23rd with a patriotic lunch by the Leicestershire region of Spoon.

No ALT tag specifiedLeicestershire Spoon celebrated St. George's Day the traditional way. First it was led by a welcome by Chairman, Malcolm Foulkes-Arnold, and followed by a rousing rendition of Jerusalem before the meal (seen above).

The event also featured a traditional English lunch, a patriotic sing-a-long and both a raffle and round of bingo (seen at left). 

The lunch was an unqualified success with 65 guests who thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations and raised a grand total of £2925 for Leicestershire Wooden Spoon.
