The Cheques Roll in for the POETS Lunch
In November, the Dorset and Wiltshire region of Wooden Spoon held a great afternoon out in Bournemouth.

No ALT tag specifiedThe 2nd Dorset and Wiltshire POETS Lunch was another great success with celebrated cricket commentator Henry ‘Blowers’ Blofeld as our very amusing speaker. In attendance were Robin Haycock, he retiring Chairman for the Dorset and Wiltshire Spoon, Paddy Williamson from Fernheath Play Association and Richard Erven, also of the local Spoon regional committee. During the lunch a cheque for £94,000 presented to Fernheath Play Association for a Sensory Room on behalf of Wooden Spoon (seen above).  

Later in the day, Mark Haslingden and Robin Haycock, both of the local regional committee received a £250 donation, proceeds from a recent golf day, from Michael Stebbings of the Bournemouth Area Hospitality Association (seen at left).
