Edinburgh Book Launch Dinner
Wooden Spoon hosted another fantastic Book Launch Dinner at the reknowned Prestonfield House in Edinburgh.

No ALT tag specifiedOver 450 table hosts and their guests packed into The Stables Block at Prestonfield House on the 26th October for the twelfth consecutive Book Launch Dinner. As ever, it was a highly entertaining evening and  enjoyed by all.  Scottish Honorary President, Peter Brown, chaired the evening. with aplomb. The inimitable Ian Robertson, the BBC Rugby Commentator, acted as Master of Ceremonies and led a lively round of heads and tails, as seen at left.

 

No ALT tag specifiedThe entertainment was provided by Phil Steele, Rob Nothman and The Three Waiters - opera with a difference. The main sponsor of the dinner was Dunedin Independent plc who supported the event for the eighth consecutive year.

The local committee of Spoon estimate raising a net surplus of £43,000 which will help local disadvantaged children in Scotland.  The committee would like to thank all those who attended and in particular the sponsors, without whom, the event would not be possible.
