Herts Spoon Was Dealt a Lucky Hand!
The Hertfordshire region of Wooden Spoon held a successful Casino Night in August, raising funds and blood pressure all the same!

No ALT tag specifiedAn entertaining evening was had by all at the Casino Night held at Welwyn RFC in August and organised by the Hertfordshire region of Wooden Spoon. The Razz Harmony Singers got people's feet tapping with various well known songs and the Second Impulse Sax Quartet, ably led by Herts Spoon Treasurer Graham Cook, provided background music for the gambling activities.  The fun went on through the evening with all guests getting into the spirit. Prizes were awarded for the luckiest man and woman who had accumulated the most gambling chips at the end of the evening, which added to the excitement just before the tables closed.  This great event raised £475 for local disadvantaged children.
