| Mid Herts Gets their Stripes Out for Spoon! |

| It was a clash of blazers and the Presidents of the RFU & WRU on the eve of their warm up match on 3rd of August. |

 This was a combination of County Members of the Hertfordshire Rugby Football Union, the qualifiers for the Rugby Clubs Championship, as run by Gib Hancock, plus Wooden Spoon Members and guests. The Herts region raised around £2500 on the day with 76 players taking part. Guests included Bob Taylor, President of the RFU, and Anthony John, a member of the Wales RFU - both seen at left, The Winners of the County Cup were from Southend Rugby Club and the best of the 4 man Team qualifiers for the Rugby Clubs Championship came from Bishops Stortford Rugby Club, as represented by John Allanson, as seen above with John Nicholl of Hertfordshire Spoon. |
