Upon arrival at Greenwich Pier, the guests were piped ashore by Sea Cadets and led along to the Water Gate of the Old Royal Naval College. A short walk through the grounds followed, before guests were stunned and silenced as they entered into the magnificent Painted Hall.

The evening, hosted by Wooden Spoon CEO Geoff Morris, then began as guests were invited to take their seats for dinner before being entertained by two performers from the Welsh National Opera, Janet Mooney and James Edwards, to the beautiful sound of a grand piano.

Guests, including Martin Bayfield and the entire Ladies Spoon Rugby Team (seen at right) were then spoilt with a fantastic menu including an unusual addition of fresh cherries served with the cheese board. Further entertainment followed including all 200 guests finishing the evening in the Painted Hall by singing Sea Shanties and waving Union Jack Flags! It was then time to head back out to the boat where guests were returned by river whilst enjoying the famous sites of London by moonlight.
