Iestyn arrived with his mum, dad, brother and sister to be welcomed by Blues Rugby Administrator Victoria McCracken, who (despite having a broken ankle) arranged for Iestyn to meet the whole squad, who were absolutely brilliant, with every player speaking with him and signing his jersey and ball.

The squad also posed for pictures with Iestyn, which really brought a smile to his face, especially when Welsh Grand Slam Captain, Sam Warburton sat and chatted with him. Iestyn's spontaneous response brought tears to the eyes - "Dad, this is the best day of my life!"

We are so grateful to the Cardiff Blues who really made Iestyn and his family so welcome - a day they will never forget.
